Freshmen Traditional LPN-RN

Siena College offers an Associate in Science Degree in Nursing to both Licensed Practical Nurses (LPN) [transition student] and those who have no previous nursing education [generic student].

The LPN to RN Transition Track recognizes the LPN’s nursing knowledge and skills. This program is designed for the LPN who feels qualified to participate in an accelerated program.
The Generic Program is for the applicants who have no previous nursing education or the LPN who does not wish to enroll in an accelerated program. Since nursing is a limited access program, entrance requirements are the same.
